Counselor Conferences

A PLTW Counselor Conference is a professional development conference designed to inform school counselors, post-secondary advisors, principals, teachers and school administrators about the PLTW program and give them information they can use to encourage students to enroll in PLTW courses.

Counselor Conferences typically take place in the fall of each year at PLTW Affiliate Universities across the country, giving educators, counselors and administrators more opportunities to participate.

PLTW schools are required to send a minimum of one advisor/counselor to an annual conference. PLTW recommends that schools send all of their advisors/counselors to at least one conference during their tenure with the school.

We invite you to join us at one of our counselor conferences. These conferences are open to all counselors; those already at schools in the network as well as counselors with schools that are considering PLTW.
