How Do I Join?

  1. Select "Engineering" or "Biomedical Sciences"
  2. Click How to Join on the pull down menu
  3. Read through the material. When you are ready to join click "Register Today" on the left side of the page, or click "click here for Registration" at the botton of the page.
  4. Click on "District and School Registration Now Open"
  5. Click on "Register Now" to the right of "New School District"
  6. Fill out the "School Application Form"

 

TEACHERS MUST REGISTER NO LATER THAN JUNE 11TH.

  • From right side, select top tab “PLTW ®Sign-in”
  • A new window appears. Click on top “Teacher Login”
  • Scroll down, you will find Login window.
  • Use school e-mail address only!
  • If forgotten current password, click the "forgot password" link and a new password will be e-mailed at school e-mail address.
  • If do not receive a temporary password within a few minutes, it is most likely school has spam block. If this is the case, please e-mail jhendrick@pltw.org with "send password" in the subject line and it will be replied back.
  • Once logged in, in top right, two tabs, “My Setting” and “Help”
  • Click on “Help”, a link “Summer Training Institute Registration Process”
  • Click this link; it is a “Video tutorial” for registration help.
  • Update personal information, register for training, and view information specific to registered PLTW teachers.
  • You will find the pre-assessments on the PLTW® Virtual Academy. To take a STI pre-assessment, you must first select either Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences.
  • Below are the links to the STI pre-assessments on the Virtual Academy:
Once logged in it will direct you to the Pre-Assessments. Once completed the pre-assessment with a score of 75% you will be able to register for training, on the teacher console, Professional Development.
